We got to try this classic oldies theme restaurant on 14 January 2017 during our 4th day in Bali. It is located above Holy Crab in Petitenget and is very close Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak. We had 3 different dishes to try which all of them delivered perfectly. Let's have a look!
Still from our last trip to Bali earlier this January, we got invited by KAUM Restaurant to taste some of their signature dishes. KAUM is a fine Indonesian restaurant created by Potato Head Group. It is located at Potato Head Beach Club in Seminyak on the second floor. The view from the dining area is absolutely amazing, its Blue (the sky and the sea) as far as the eyes can see! We really felt like dining on the beach. Interior is simple, humble, very modern, yet still heavily influenced by the traditionional Indonesian heritage. Food is by far one of the best Indonesian Restaurant that we've ever tried in Bali. So, let's check it out.
First coffee shop review in 2017, yeay! Introducing KEREN COFFEE, located at Landmark Pluit, its the only shop (at the time of the writing) operating at this emptied office complex. We got invited by Billy Oscar to taste some of their signature brunch/lunch menus and their coffees. Thank you for the opportunity! I personally really love a coffee shop with some brunch menus, so Keren Coffee really does a great job! Lets check it out!
Guys, have you heard the latest Shabu Shabu house 'Mo Mo Paradise' at PIK? They recently opened their door to the public on 20 January 2017. But luckily we got an exclusive food tasting earlier on 18 January 2016 with media and bloggers. Momo Paradise is an international shabu shabu brand from Japan and has spreaded their wings to Asia and USA. We honestly never heard their name before, so its pretty surprising when we knew that they are the number 1 Shabu Shabu brand in Asia. What we reviewed here is based on our experience before their official opening. There might be some improvements after the opening, so hopefully its gonna be a successful opening week. During our trip to Bali, we took a day off to Ubud. We never missed the beautiful nature of Ubud. This time we stayed at Bebek Tepi Sawah Villas, the place that is normally known for its dining on the side of paddy field. Yes, its exactly located at the same area of Bebek Tepi Sawah restaurant in Ubud. The room is a typical traditional balinese room with classic vintage wooden interior. We really had a nice stay here especially in the morning when we hear the sound of the pool and the view of paddy field from our balcony. Lets check it out!
We both were really grateful for having the opportunity to taste CUCA at Jimbaran, Bali. We were very honoured to get invited for a Chef's tasting menus here on our first day in Bali 11 January 2017. But let me tell you, I had never been so excited in my blogging carrier when I foot-stepped this area for the first time. It was absolutely beautiful, everything was green! This really seems like going back to the nature. We had like 7 course meal: 2 starters, 3 main courses and 2 desserts plus 2 mocktails. Every single one that we tried out of the 7 was by far one of the most consistently delicious in a restaurant. The standart is very high and even the services are fantastic. Let's have a look
If you follow our Instagram account, you must have noticed our 5 days trip to Bali. We bought our flight tickets just less than 2 months before our trip. Initially, it was pure to celebrate my birthday on January 2017. But let's be real, we got a priviledge to enjoy this super nice villa for our first day in Bali (11 January 2017). This is Four on Drupadi by Shanti Collection, a group of luxury property collection in Bali. Four on Drupadi is a villa with different kinds of theme for each room. We got 'OAINI' villa which is the Chinese Theme room. The Name OAINI is derived from Mandarin phrase 'Wo Ai Ni' which means I Love you. So, what's interesting about this property? Let's have a look!
Last Sunday, 8 January 2017, we were very honoured to get invited to Oku Japanese Restaurant at Kempinski Jakarta. A restaurant that has become one of the most talked about high end Japanese cuisine in the city, definitely amazing experience is guaranteed. We were even surprised knowning that they are rated 4.8 on Zomato, the highest that we've ever seen so far. That pretty much needs a lot of hard work and great consistancy. We've heard how people got out of the room feeling happy, and now its our turn to try it. Let's check it out!
Last week, we visited Coffee Aya, a soft launched minimalist coffee shop in Muara Karang. Precisely located near Pasar Muara Karang, the place that we'll never imagine having this kind of modern minimalist coffee shop. We came here just a 2 days after looking at the buzz on Instagram. When arrived, we hardly found the name of the cafe until we looked up and saw the super small name on the wall. There's no particular sign board whatsoever, but google maps managed to bring us here.
Second post in 2017! Woohoo. But actually we visited here on November 5th 2016 during our 2 day trip to Semarang. Let me introduce you to this lovely historical cafe: Spiegel Bar & Bistro. A cafe and coffee shop located at the old city of Semarang where many of the historical structures built here decades ago. Its a very comfort place to just sit and relax or have a great conversation with your friends. I personally think this is my kind of place to work with my notebook and its easier to get inspiration from the interior. They keep the authenticity of the old building and create it into a classic european kind of cafe and bistro. Lets check it out!

Nah di Jakarta mereka membuka restoran di bilangan Ciledug di mana dalam satu restoran ini terdapat 2 brand: Romie Susantie dan Bebek Garang.
